Church Covenant

Having been led, as we believe by the Spirit of God, to receive the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior, and on the profession of our faith in Him, Having been baptized in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit – we do now in the presence of God and men, enter into solemn covenant with each other, as one body in Christ, resolving-

That we will not forsake the assembling of ourselves together, nor neglect to pray for ourselves and others.

That we will take and teach the Word of God as the rule and guide of our conduct.

That we will bring up those under our care in the knowledge and love of Christ, and by a sincere and earnest example, we will seek to win our kindred and acquaintances to the Savior and to eternal life.

That we will rejoice at each other’s happiness, and endeavor with tenderness to bear each other’s burdens and sorrows.

That we will live a Christian life at home, in business and in our social relationships, setting a worthy example, remembering that as we have been willingly received into newness of life in Christ, so there is on us a special obligation henceforth to lead a new and holy life.

That we will strive together for the support of a faithful evangelical ministry among us, and as faithful stewards of the Lord, we will do good to all men, especially in helping to extend the gospel in its purity and power to the whole human family.

That through life, amidst evil report and good, we will endeavor to live to the glory of Him who hath called us out of darkness into His marvelous light.
